Ian, I do appreciate your twopenneth. Do you mean the whiteness of the sky or the sepia-esque tone? I like the two subjects, but that stereotypical gray Pacific Northwest sky was killing me, it washes everything out. And so, afterwards, I overcompensate by manipulating the pic (i.e. turning it b/w or sepia to try and make some kind of salvageable image. I will probably go back here on a better weather day and try again.
